Terms & Conditions
1. We recommend that you carefully read and understand the Terms and Conditions as set out below, as these terms will take full effect upon the receipt of Customer quotation approval.
2. H&R Roofing Services agrees to complete the work set out overleaf/quote/work order. Once the quote is accepted, the price is fixed for the work to be carried out and will not be negotiable upon completion. The work details will be clearly stated on the quote. In the event of any unforeseen variations to the quoted scope of works, the customer will be promptly notified.
3. Payment of the Quotation/Contract price is due on the day of the repair/restoration work completion and can be made via cheque, cash, or Bank Transfer. The customer must provide necessary electrical power and water at no cost to H&R Roofing Services.
4. Any costs associated with power and water usage during the work will be the responsibility of the customer.
5. Cancellation of work by the Customer will result in the forfeiture of any deposit paid, subject to the cooling-off period (if applicable), including expenses for ordered materials/supplies and work completed.
6. H&R Roofing Services is not liable for delays caused by weather, illness, or other conditions, and reserves the right to cancel the contract due to unforeseen circumstances at its discretion.
7. No responsibility is taken for damage to vehicles parked on or near the premises or for damage to structures during the restoration process. The removal of vehicles before work commences is the customer’s responsibility.
8. H&R Roofing Services does not accept liability for faulty tile clips, discontinued roof tiles, or damage to guttering during the restoration process.
9. Rust prevention treatments are not a guaranteed cure, and H&R Roofing Services is not responsible for rust reappearance.
10. H&R Roofing Services is not liable for leaks, storm damage, or acts of God, and any potential damage during cleaning is not covered.
11. Products used in roof restoration services are guaranteed for 7 years, with specific guarantees for colour/sealer and flexible pointing for 7 years.
12. Any variation in the finished appearance of the roof due to age, texture, or prior painting is outside the control of H&R Roofing Services.
13. Warranties do not apply to products misused, neglected, or altered by the Customer or unauthorized persons.
14. Warranty coverage for leaks is provided for 6 months post-Roof Restoration/repair works. Costs associated with leaks not related to the restoration are the responsibility of the Customer after this period.
15. Regular maintenance for mold prevention is recommended post-restoration.
16. These terms and conditions may be amended, and any changes will be governed by the laws of Victoria.
17. Client responsibilities include hazard identification and communication with Roof Makeover Specialist, as well as site notification to relevant parties and the removal of obstacles hindering work progress.
18. Payment for work is due in full upon completion, and any issues should be reported within 7 days for resolution.
19. Precautions should be taken during the washing stage to prevent damage/dirt, and water tanks should be secured.
20. Owner/landlord/agent should notify of any existing leaks and precautions should be taken for gutters and freshly painted surfaces.
21. H&R Roofing Services does not accept responsibility for damage to blocked gutters or stained surfaces.
22. Safety precautions should be observed for solar panels and work requirements for repointing.
